Elon Musk has built an automotive brand based on profound innovation, robust marketing, and by answering the need to a consumer niche that has long been ignored or inadequately fulfilled. HangarTech – LED Lighting From The Ground Up

Alternative-Hangar-LightingI’ve seen a lot of cool hangars with interesting build-outs that include lofts, bars, Jacuzzis, game rooms, theatres, and even a bowling alley. But I’ve seen nothing done way out of the norm with lighting. The most interesting lighting I’ve seen to date, as far as aesthetics are concerned, is out of southeast Wisconsin at the Sturtevant Airport (C89). The name doesn’t possess any negative connotation but it does a great job describing a part of the United States that is crisscrossed by countless transcontinental flights connecting our coastal populations. Hawthorne Achieves Design, Value, and Functionality

Hawthorne’s new facility is the third FBO serving Chicago Executive Airport (formerly named Palwaukee after the intersection of the two roads). The project has been in the works for several years and now occupies the real estate where Priester Aviation and American Flyers once called home.
